I woke up this morning fully expecting my legs to be screaming in agony after yesterday’s run, but thankfully, they felt surprisingly okay- just a little sore. I’d made sure to foam roll before bed, and I’m convinced it made a huge difference in easing the stiffness.
Today’s focus has been all about rest and recovery. I’ve kept things low-key, giving my body the chance to bounce back. Rest days aren’t just a break- they’re an essential part of training, allowing muscles to repair and grow stronger.
Tomorrow marks the start of Week 5, so I’ll soon find out if the extra recovery paid off. Fingers crossed for fresh legs and strong miles ahead!

“When the road looks rough ahead and you’re miles and miles from your nice, warm bed.”
