Today marked the beginning of running 21 miles over two days, starting with a 7-mile run. I went into it without any expectations for time, focusing instead on running at a pace that felt comfortable and sustainable for the distance. To my surprise, I finished over two minutes faster than Tuesday’s 7-miler, which has me absolutely thrilled!
Now, the next 12 hours are all about recovery, rest, and refuelling-essential ingredients for setting myself up for success in tomorrow’s 14-mile run. Giving my body the time and nutrients it needs to recharge is just as important as the run itself, especially with such a big challenge ahead. Here’s to good preparation-and wish me luck for tomorrow!
7miles (11.27km) in 1:07:03.

“This time, I want to see it. And hurry! There’s less than 12 hours to go.”
