Day Thirty Six…on your bike!

Today was meant to be a 5K run, but with the discomfort still lingering, I made the smarter choice to swap it for a low-impact session on the indoor bike. While cycling works slightly different muscles, I kept my heart rate up by incorporating short, high-resistance sprints every few minutes – turning it into a tough but effective workout.

Obviously, nothing truly replaces running, but cross-training is key when dealing with an injury. It allows me to maintain fitness without adding further strain, giving my body the chance to recover while still staying active. For now, cross training will more than do!
