With a late start and finish at work today, I had the rare opportunity to run before heading in – a real treat! It was nice to wake up, have breakfast, and hop on the treadmill without the usual rush or overthinking. I’d love to make this a habit, but life doesn’t always allow for such luxuries.
Running at this time felt great, and I noticed I had more energy throughout the day. The run itself was nearly identical to Monday’s in both feel and time. The discomfort is still there, but it’s improving bit by bit.
Looking ahead, tomorrow and Saturday will be tough with back-to-back medium and long runs. These runs are both rewarding and demanding – pushing endurance, building strength, and testing mental resilience. They’re the backbone of progress, but they also require patience and careful pacing. Time to gear up for the challenge!
