The first day of back-to-back medium and long runs kicked off with an 8-mile treadmill session to keep the impact lower.

This run felt great – there was still some discomfort, but it’s definitely easing up. I had to squeeze it in after work, which doesn’t leave me much recovery time before tomorrow’s early morning run. Still, the pace was solid, probably a bit quicker than I expected, and I can feel my fitness improving. It’s early days still but that can only mean good things for race day!
