Today’s plan was originally a 17-mile run, which would’ve taken around 2 hours and 40 minutes. Replicating that on the rowing machine? Nearly impossible.
At first, I considered pushing for over two hours on the rower, but I quickly realized that wasn’t realistic either. Instead, I aimed for 90 minutes, focusing on longer sustained efforts with shorter rest periods. By the end, I was completely exhausted – but also incredibly satisfied. A session like this isn’t just about building physical endurance; it’s a serious test of mental toughness too.
Next up: a well-earned rest day and a chance to reassess the plan moving forward.
