Today, rest was the clear priority. Despite a busy schedule, I relished the opportunity to let my legs recover – a welcome break in my training. As the miles add up, these rest days are becoming increasingly crucial.
To boost my recovery and keep my marathon training on track, I plan to incorporate some active recovery techniques.
Gentle stretching and foam rolling will help ease muscle tension, while a calming yoga session or a light walk can improve my flexibility and circulation. This balanced approach ensures I’m not just resting but actively preparing my body for the miles ahead.
