Day Forty Three…almost back on schedule!

Easing back into nearly full training started today. The original plan called for 4 miles today, 8 miles tomorrow, and another 4 on Wednesday, but to avoid overloading my body, I adjusted it to 4.5, 7, and 4.5. There’s still some lingering discomfort – it comes and goes – but thankfully, it’s not getting worse. Also, to reduce the impact on my leg, I opted for the treadmill, which made for a smooth and controlled run. I kept things comfortable with a steady pace and negative splits. As usual, the discomfort fades once I’m warmed up and doesn’t feel any worse afterward, though I can’t quite tell if it’s improving yet!
